


James Gerner, DDS
Dr. Gerner graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in 1973 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1977. For over 20 years Dr. Gerner was a member of the Teaching Faculty for OBI, Orognathic Bioesthetics International, Inc. and is very passionate about educating his colleagues and patients about this program which integrates natural beauty and optimal function. Dr. Gerner continues to devote many hours to continuing education about the latest dental advances, especially treating the TMJ and bite related disorders. In 2016, Dr. Gerner was the honored recipient of the prestigious AGD Mastership Award in Dentistry. He served as the President of the Omaha District Dental Society in 1993, and is a Past President of the Nebraska Chapter, International College of Dentists. When not in the office, Dr. Gerner can be found playing golf, fly fishing and working out at the gym. Dr. Gerner and his wife play golf and tennis together along with their adult children.
David Olson, DDS
Dr. Olson is from Lincoln, Nebraska and is a graduate of UNMC-College of Dentistry, where he received several clinical and practice management awards. After dental school Dr. Olson was accepted into a two year Advanced Education of General Dentistry residency in Kansas City, where he focused on cosmetic dentistry and placing dental implants. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Nebraska Dental Association. He was honored to be invited to serve as a board member of the Omaha District Dental Society for two years from 2012-2014. David is a second generation dentist, who likes to read, work out, play golf, and spend time with his family in his free time. Dr. Olson has a wife Julie whom he met in dental school that practices orthodontics in Omaha. They have three very busy children; Claire, Luke, and John.
Michael Fleming, DDS
Dr. Fleming is a co-founder of Montclair Dental since 1972 and received his training in dentistry at the UNMC-College of Dentistry. He is a member of the International College of Dentists, the Omaha District Dental Society, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Fleming served in the Marine Corps, has run over 100 marathons, and is a rabid Husker fan. We are saddened to inform our patients that Dr. Fleming has decided to retire after 50 years of practicing dentistry. He still frequents the office and is enjoying retirement, still running frequently and spending more time with his family.
